Overview

The project is located in the northeast of Tongdian Town, Lanping County, where the north-south flora exchange and division are the most complicated in Hengduan Mountains and the original ecosystem is well preserved. It is not only an important part of Laojunshan National Park, but also a link of the Kunming - Dali - Lijiang golden tourist route and the eastern gateway tourist area where Nujiang River merges into the Northwest Yunnan and the Great Shangri-La Tourist Circle. Relying on the mature tourism market in the large area, and on the basis of the alpine meadow, alpine flower sea and unique Pumi ethnic cultural resources in Dayangchang, it is planned to build a first-class international camping and outdoor sports experience area and Pumi customs deep experience base in the province.

Construction scale: It is planned to build the tourist service center, Dayangchang international camping base, international sliding grassland, mountain marathon area, orienteering area, mountain fun game area, grassland entertainment and leisure area, Yunnan grassland competition conference area, lover-themed scenic spot, Western Yunnan outdoor sports base, Pumi customs village, Pumi Valentine's Day Experience Area, etc.

Advantages and opportunities: Regional economic situation: Nujiang Prefecture is adjacent to Myanmar in the west, Tibet Autonomous Region in the north, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and Lijiang City in the east and Baoshan City in the south, with a land area of 14,700km². It has jurisdiction over 4 counties (cities), 29 townships (towns), 255 village committees and 17 communities, with a total population of 544,000. In 2017, Nujiang Prefecture's GDP reached RMB 14.15043 billion, up 10.9% year on year, the added value of industries above the designated scale was RMB 1145.65 million, up 13.8% year on year, the fixed-asset investment above the designated scale was RMB 15.16481 billion, up 25.4% year on year, the total retail sales of consumer goods reached RMB 3652.88 million, up 12% year-on-year. The per capita disposable income of urban residents was RMB 22,648, up 9.3% year on year. The per capita disposable income of rural residents was RMB 5,871, up 10.8%. The consumer price index was 1.5% and the retail sales index was 1.4%. The local public financial budget revenue reached RMB 993.12 million, with an increase of 4.93%, and the local public financial budget expenditure reached RMB 8967.15 million, with an increase of 58%. In 2017, foreign overnight tourists made 35,000 trips to the prefecture, with a year-on-year growth of 2.7% and domestic tourists made 3,709,400 trips, with a year-on-year growth of 23.62%. The total revenue from tourism was up to RMB 4748.3128 million, with a year-on-year growth of 30.81%.

Resource endowments: Lanping Bai and Pumi Autonomous County is located in the core area of the world natural heritage - "Three Parallel Rivers (Nujiang River, Lancang River and Jinsha River)" in southwest China. The geography and transportation radiate to the surrounding counties of the "Three Parallel Rivers" national scenic area in a star shape. It is the central node and main entrance of the tourism circle consisting of four places and ten counties in western Yunnan. It naturally becomes the central station of the tourism passage of the "Three Parallel Rivers" area. The "Gate to Three Parallel Rivers" is the tourism culture brand of Lanping. Lanping is rich in forest and biological resources. The extra-large lead-zinc mine in Fenghuang Mountain, Jinding has a proven reserve of 14.29 million tons, ranking first in Asia and second in the world. Therefore, Lanping is also called China's "Green Zinc County".

2. Associated industries: Lanping County is located in the Lancang River Basin of the "Three Parallel Rivers", between the Jinsha River in the east and Nujiang River in the west. It has many attractive scenic spots, including Yunnan golden monkey habitat closest to the city, Yunling Provincial Nature Reserve, Laojun Mountain Luoguqing Provincial Scenic Area, Laojun Mountain Plateau Pasture, glacier ice lake groups in Biluo Snow Mountain, and Cangjiang Yanma Ancient Road. It is an ace scenic spot for tourism in northwest Yunnan.

3. Early preparations: The tourism infrastructure at the project site is basically complete and the transportation is convenient. There are Nujiang Airport, Baoshan-Liuku Expressway, Lanping General Airport and the beautiful highway from Liuku to Bingzhongluo under construction. The water, electricity and communication facilities are complete. The ecological environment is superior and attractive. The construction of footpaths in the scenic spots is basically completed. Since the tourism resources are irreproducible, the project has good economic benefits.

After completion of the project, the number of tourists received will be 3,000/day. If the tourism area is open for 250 days every year and the per capita consumption is RMB 2,000/person, the annual tourism revenues will reach RMB 1.5 billion/year (revenues from comprehensive businesses, advertising, value-added services and government subsidies).
