Taking advantage of the beautiful ecological environment and water scenery of Qingfeng Lake and giving full play to the geographical advantages close to the county and Huafoshan Mountain, the project focuses on the construction of leisure and vacation park, lakeside tourism and leisure cultural corridor, water recreation, lakeshore fishing, water-playing platform, agricultural tourism and other activities facing tourism markets of ecological leisure and suburban tourism, and closely adhering to the theme of "water conservancy tourism". It is a multi-functional tourist resort integrating sightseeing, visiting, science and education, leisure, entertainment, and vacation meeting people's needs of leisure vacation and fitness.

The lakeside leisure and vacation park, including cultural entertainment, fitness, leisure, and other service facilities; lakeside leisure corridor and fishing area, focusing on the construction of lakeside tourism and leisure cultural corridor and fishing area; water entertainment area, focusing on the lakeside wharf, beach, water recreation facilities and supporting service facilities, and water recreation products to meet people's needs of water leisure and recreation.

Supporting Conditions

Closely following the development idea of "building a mountain, invigorating a lake, and upgrading a city", Mouding County taking Huafoshan Mountain and Qingfeng Lake and the left foot dance culture as the impetus, increases investment attraction and project implementation to speed up the leaping development of cultural tourism industry. The newly-planned Kunming-Dali Expressway and Chuxiong-Mouding-Yao’an Expressway are under construction, and the Chengdu-Kunming Railway runs through the county. It is 38.3 km away from the Chuxiong Railway Station, 37.5 km away from the Guangtong Central Hub Station, 77.6 km away from the Yuanmou Railway Station, and 206 km away from the Kunming South Railway Station (High-speed Railway Station). The infrastructure construction of Qingfeng Lake is under steady construction.
