Husa Achang Township, Longchuan County, Dehong Autonomous Prefecture, with beautiful mountains and rivers, pleasant climate and abundant resources, is a beautiful, magical and fertile place. Relying on the beautiful rural scenery, rich ethnic culture, and unique cultural landscape of Husa Achang Township, the project plans to build a "China's most beautiful village" integrating cultural experience, leisure and vacation, outdoor sports, health and wellness, research camping, and ethnic film and television bases. As a tourist destination, it is to create China's only most beautiful Achang native cultural life experience area and China's first and most beautiful leisure cultural life experience area.

Project Construction Content

Construction Scale: The project will be laid out in accordance with the "one town, one ring, one corridor and seven groups" to build a small town with ethnic characteristics in Husa, the most beautiful rural sports ring of Husa, the Ecological Recreational Corridor of Husa River, and the local Achang Cultural Wellness Preservation Valley Group, Huangge Temple Achang Historical and Cultural Experience Group, Li Mandai Silverware Industrial Park Group, Huna Ecological Zen Resort Group, Jiakong "Ancient Zen" Tourist Characteristic Village Group, Lasa Chieftain Cultural Tourist Characteristic Village Group, Flying Tiger Yunnan Myanmar International Motor Sports Rainforest Park Group.

Land Area: A planned area of Husa Achang township area is about 155.07 hectares equivalent to about 1.55 km².

1. Project Advantages and Opportunities:

Husa Achang Township is located in the northwest of Longchuan County, bordering Yingjiang County to the north and Myanmar to the west. The border line is 4.35 km long and 53 km away from the county of Zhangfeng. It is one of only two Achang townships in the country. The topography of the whole township is characterized by the long and narrow "two mountains and one valley" from the north to the south. The east and west are blocked by two mountains to form a valley in the middle. The valley is dominated by a flat land. The average elevation of the dam area is 1,430 m, which is an independent small basin. The land area of the whole township is 251.9 km², which is suitable for development as a tourism, wellness and sports and leisure town. Husa villages are arranged on both sides of the road circulating the town. The ring road is built around the foot of the mountain, making Husa's beautiful pastoral scenery displayed to tourists at every node of the traffice. The scenery is indeed beautiful. The Husa Achang Township has a south subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 16.1°C. The climate is comfortable and cool, with no severe coldness in winter or heat in summer. Hence, the climate is suitable for people to live. Husa is located at an important node of the tourist ring line in West Yunnan. The Husa toll station is set up on Tenglong Expressway. Hence, the transportation here is convenient.

2. Associated Industries:

Beautiful natural landscape resources. The planning area is located in Husa Dam, known as the "Buddha's Garden", with blue sky, white clouds, and green mountains. All seasons are like spring, and the natural landscape is beautiful. The villages in the planned area are surrounded by rivers, and the natural grass slopes are scattered with a few trees, supplemented by fog, like a fairyland on earth.

Rich cultural attraction resources. The planning area is the settlement area of the Han and Achang nationalities, dominated by the latter, with a rich and colorful Achang traditional culture, traditional Achang folk houses, exquisite knives, exquisite silverware, traditional festivals such as New Rice Festival, Knife-Pole Festival of Lisu, and ALuWoLuo Festival and wonderful Achang songs, dances, and cuisines, etc. In addition, there are the Tusi House ruins in the planning area. Today, only one house and the outline of the entire Tusi House remain, but the Tusi culture represented by it is inherited from generation to generation. Influenced by the Dai people, most of the villagers in the planned area believe in Theravada Buddhism. They have built thousands of pagodas and temple houses, and each village has its own house, where various religious festivals and activities were held regularly.

Rich rural landscape charm. The layout of the dwellings in the planned area is dense and fabricated. Combined with the surrounding pastoral landscape, fruit forests and bamboo forests and other vegetation and the river surrounding the village, it forms a rural landscape with "small bridges and flowing water", with mountains and water visible , giving people a sense of comfort and leisure.

The project has completed the Tourism Development Master Plan of China's Most Beautiful Village (Husa Achang Township, Longchuan)  (2019-2025).
