Supporting Conditions

Location advantages: Xiangyun County is located in the east of central Yunnan and western Yunnan. The change between four seasons is not distinct. Its average temperature is 15.2 ℃. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. The temperature is constant in spring and winter. It is rainy in summer and autumn. It is distinct in wet season and dry season. Xiangyun County is adjacent to Dayao, Yao’an and Nanhua in the east, Midu County in the south, Dali City in the west and Binchuan County in the north. The net altitude of the county is higher than that of neighboring counties, with less mountainous area and large forest-covering area.

Traffic advantages: the project, located in Xiangyun County in the northwest of central Yunnan Province, with crisscrossed and developed traffic network, is regarded as the eastern entrance of Dali Prefecture. The county town is located in the intersection of three traffic arteries, that is, Chuxiong-Dali Expressway and Guangzhou-Dali Railway, National Highway 320., it can get to Sichuan from Ninglang through Xiangyun-Ninglang Highway in the north, to Linchang by Xiangning Secondary Highway in the south, 293 km form the capital, Kunming in the east and 45km from the prefecture center, Dali city. At present, Xiangyun County has preliminarily formed the transportation hub and material distribution center in the western Yunnan, and has become the bridge to connect the ASEAN Free Trade Area in the southwest China.

Production factors: The water required by the project is supplied by the water supply pipe network in the Fortune Industrial Park, and the water can basically meet the production and life demands in the Base. There are three substations with the capacity of 35KV, 110KV and 220KV respectively in the Industrial Park, which can provide a strong power supply guarantee for the project construction. Xiangyun County possesses a total land area of 2,425 square kilometers and has 10 towns, 2 townships and 115 villages in its administrative region. By 2016, with a total population of 470,000, and there are abundant labor resources in the county.

Policy advantages: Yunnan Lifan Junma Vehicle Co., LTD and Yunnan Xiangyun Haishan Casting Co., LTD are intended to sign the investment cooperation agreement, to found the Automobile Mechanical Parts Processing Industrial Park in Xiangyun Fortune Industrial Park, which will drive the settlement and rapid development of relevant industries. This project is established in line with relevant national policies and regulations, and is encouraged by the country.

Associated industries: In 2016, the Fortune Industrial Park achieved a total industrial output value of RMB 9040 million, accounting for 67.52% of the total industrial output of the entire county. The industrial added value was RMB 23.05 billion, with sales revenue of RMB 8628 million and revenue with the tax of RMB 332 million. Production capacity of main products is respectively up to: 180000 tons of electrolytic zinc, 80000 tons of electrolytic lead, 80000 tons of zinc base alloy, 290000 tons of sulfuric acid, 800000 KVA·h submicron plumbic acid storage batteries, 3.5 tons of gold, 100000 tons of aluminum material, 50 tons of silver, 3600 tons of copper and 10000 tons of strontium carbonate, 8000 tons of hydraulic metal parts, 50000 tons of electrolytic antimony, 10000 tons of antimony white powder, 25000 tons of sponge iron, 15 tons of metal indium, 800000 tons of pellets, etc. Nonferrous metals have become an important pillar to support the industrial development in the park.

Early preparations: This project, depending on the various software and hardware conditions and preferential policies for the Xiangyun Fortune Industrial Park, possesses good an investment environment and transportation condition. With the hilly terrain, there are barren hills except the existing enterprises and no large-scale residential area in the project area. There is no threat from landslide, collapse, unstable slope, frequent mudslides and other geological disasters, and the project area will not be affected by flood. Yunnan Xiangyun Haishan Casting Co., LTD has built a standardized workshop and installed the casting equipment by itself.

The self-financing or loan shall be conducted by the enterprises according to the investment situations.

This project is located in Xiangyun Fortune Industrial Park, the preferential policies such as management policy, land policy, tax policy, fiscal policy and policies regarding electricity, communications and water supply shall be executed according to the resent provisions in the industrial park.

Market Prediction (Analysis)

Due to less car ownership in Southeast Asia and underdeveloped economy in some ASEAN countries, cheap price and heavy load shall be taken into much consideration as for the vehicle demand. The automobile products produced in Yunnan can meet the requirements of quality, technical level and price, and have comparative advantages in the ASEAN market, so there is a larger market.

Profit Model and Preliminary Benefit Analysis

The tractors manufactured by Shenli and New Tianli Machinery and other agricultural vehicle products already occupy a certain market in Southeast Asia. With the promotion of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the economic and trading cooperation between the two parties is more and more convenient. With the booming industrialization of neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, the demand for machinery equipment products is growing rapidly.

Risk Analysis

The tractors are mainly aimed at overseas markets such as South Asia and Southeast Asia, and there is almost no living space domestically. But, due to the less stable political situation in South Asia at present, the export of products can be easily affected.
