The West Yunnan Medical Center is located in the north of Fengyi area of Dali National-level Economic and Technological Development Zone. It extends to Guanbin Road in the north, Baita River in the west, the connecting line of Dali Expressway in the south and the extension of Lanchaun Road in the east.

Overview

Taking the existing medical system of maternal and child health care and orthopedics department as foundation, the project will introduce domestic and overseas famous medical institutions and international advanced medical equipment and supplement specialized hospitals for cardiovascular disease and other diseases to make up the gap of local specialized hospitals. The project aims to create a healthy life destination integrating medical treatment, medical recuperation, convalescence, rehabilitation and sojourn by relying on abundant guest resources along the golden tourism route from Kunming to Chuxiong, the excellent natural ecological environment and favorable service support facilities and by constructing specialized hospitals, medical supporting residences and health supporting facilities and other related infrastructure.

A cardiovascular disease hospital will be built. It covers an area of about 100 mu. Its building area is about 100,000m². It is planned to set 500-1000 beds in this hospital. A cancer hospital will be built. It covers an area of about 100 mu. Its building area is about 100,000m². It is planned to set 500-1000 beds in this hospital. In addition, relevant medical supporting facilities and healthy projects will be constructed, such as health care and rehabilitation center, medical cosmetic center, health preservation hotel, healthy food center, social welfare institute, residential type health care community, etc.

Supporting Conditions

Ecological environment: Dali nestles under Cangshan Mountain and near Erhai Lake. The nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain, facing Erhai Lake, stretch tens of kilometers. Dali people have lived here for generations. The people, mountains, rivers and lakes make Dali a landscape and idyll. Dali is constituted by 70% mountains, 15% waters and 15% plain area. Cangshan Mountain is lush with vegetation and green in four seasons, while Erhai Lake is clear and beautiful. Dali is known as the "Oriental Geneva". It features plenty of sunshine. Its mean annual sunshine duration is 2,473h. Its mean annual rainfall is f 1,100 mm. Its climate is moderate with an annual average temperature is 15. 1°C.
