Description

With the growing of energy crisis and automobile ownership, the traditional internal combustion engine automobiles are confronted with serious challenges. Especially for China with rapid development of economy, the amount of consumption and import of oil have raised constantly which have brought unprecedented pressure to the development of automobile industry with large amount of oil consumption. In this case, the development of electromobile has become a new trend. The focus of the production technology of electromobile has been changed from lab to application, providing mature conditions for production. This project is planned to produce pure electric sanitation trucks, pure electric city delivery vehicles and tour buses

Content

Construction scale: The total floor area is 94,822 m². Detailed construction includes press shop, welding shop, painting shop, assembly shop, warehouse of raw materials, open-parking ground, comprehensive office building life service area and public facilities. After this project is completed, the production scale with the annual output of 600 pure electric sanitation trucks, 3000 pure electric city delivery vehicles and 1500 tour buses will be formed.

Supporting Conditions

Hongta Industrial Park is located in Hongta District of Yuxi City with outstanding strategic geographical advantages. It is 86 km far from Kunming. Traffic is quite convenient in the park as Kunming-Yuxi Expressway, National Highway 213 and Kunming-Yuxi Railway run through the park from south to north; the East Line and West Line of Pan-Asia Railway meet in the park. In 2015, the main business revenue of all enterprises in the “one park and eight zones” of Hongta Industrial Park was RMB 89,000,000,000 with a year-on-year increase of 11.2%; the total industrial output value was RMB 84,800,000,000 with a year-on-year increase of 10%; the industrial added value was RMB 46.702 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 5.3%; andthe fixed-asset investment was RMB 9,000,000,000 with a year-on-year increase of 114.6%.

This project is located in Chunhe Block, Guanyinshan Industrial Zone, Hongta Industrial Park. The planned area of the block is 12.8 km² and it is divided into seven functional areas including equipment manufacturing area, new materials and new energy industry area, new building materials area, logistics warehousing area, integrated service area, management center of the park and ecological barrier area. New energy industry is one of five major industries in Hongta Industrial Park. The project site belongs to mild slope of low mountains and hills recommended by the People’s Government of Yunnan Province. Therefore, the land supply can be ensured preferentially. For the lithium ion batteries required for this project, supply-demand cooperation relationship can be built with Yunnan Yuxi Huilong Technology Co., Ltd. in the project site.

Investment Estimate and Fund Raising

Investment estimate: A total investment of RMB 640,445,000 including RMB 240,445,000 of self-raised funds and RMB 400,000,000 of funds raised from financial institutions.

Fund raising: self raising by enterprise and bank loans

Preferential Policies Applicable

Preferential policies for investment promotion in Yuxi: “One consideration for one matter” is followed for the industrial investment project with strong leading power for the development of the city's industry. Relevant certificates for land use can be handled under the conditions that 20% of the sum of transaction price has been paid and time limit of residual payment has been guaranteed by the investor.

Market Prediction (Analysis)

Under the background of global efforts to reduce carbon emissions, concerns about energy security and air quality deterioration and the rapid advancement of technology, more and more countries have paid attention to automobile electrification. In 2015, the output of new energy automobiles increased to 379,000 automobiles from 2,300 automobiles in 2010, up 163 times within 5years. The total output of pure electric special vehicles was 47,778 including 44,497 trucks, 1,976 sanitation trucks and 1305 other special vehicles. With the rapid growth of express logistics in our country, the replacement of urban sanitation trucks, the increase of new energy automobile types, the increase of the demands in new energy tour buses in scenic spots and the supporting of national and local policies, the development of city delivery vehicles, new energy sanitation trucks and new energy tour buses will enter the rapid growth period.

Profit Model and Preliminary Benefit Analysis

Economic benefits: After this project reaches the design capacity, annual sales revenue of new energy special vehicle products can reach RMB 1,050,000,000 with the corporate income tax of RMB 73,940,000, and annual net profit of RMB 221,820,000 and the payback period is 5.9 years (including 3 years of construction period).

Social benefits: The construction of this project will promote the development of automobile industry in Yuxi City and increase government tax revenue and job opportunities and reduce environmental pollution

It mainly includes the competitive risk of projects of the same kinds in other prefectures and cities of Yunnan, financial risk due to the large investment amount and high cost of projects.
